Bassplayer Niels Ryde entered the danish jazzscene in the mid eighties with a new personal sound and aproace on the bass, he soon became a member of different jazz/funk groups, and started his own group in 88. Since then he have been a most sought after musicians on the Danish as well as the International Jazz scene. Played and toured with : Lew Soloff(US), Wolfgang Muthspiel(Au), Ben Monder(us), Orazio Maugeri(It), Siggi Flossason(is), Doug Raney(US), Krister Jönsson(S), Basiru Suso(mali), Pierre Dørge& (NJO)(DK), John Tchicai(US), Butch Lacy(US), James Loveless Funk Band(US/DK), Marc Bernstein (US Pirre Dørge, Uffe Steen Jensen, Carsten Dahl, Anders Mogensen, Søren Bebe, Thor Madsen, Kasper Tranberg, Palle Torp, Christoffer Sten Møller, Niels Vincentz, Jesper Lovedale og Thomas Frank amomg others. And does clinics and workshops throughout Europe..
Mads la Cour. In 2008 he graduated from the Carl Nielsen Acedemy of Music in Odense, Denmark. During his education he also spend 6 month in Stockholm where he studied at the Royal Music Conservatory. In 2008 Mads la Cour released his debut cd ”á la Cour” which got fine reviews in the leading danish papers. On this cd Mads la Cour only plays the flugelhorn, and its on the flugelhorn Mads is considered as one of a kind on the danish and on the european jazz scene. It has been said about Mads la Cour that he has an ability to get everybodys attention when he starts playing his suprisingly and colourfull lines. Mads la Cour can be heard in alot of different combos like Quartz, Danish Radio Big Band.
Krister Jonsson showed up on the Swedish jazz scene like a breath of fresh air a few years ago. Together with his trio, he has since then repeatedly shown his eccentricity, versatility, and clever musical humor. But Krister Jonsson is not merely content to let the music shift from calm songs over peaceful blues and straight rock to raw freeform. Instead, he and his trio strengthen it even more by actively working with and processing the sound. Krister is playing with Frederik Lundin Overdrive, Marlyn Mazur among others, he also leads his own Trio in Sweden.
Since entering the Danish jazzscene in the early 1990´s, drummer Anders Mogensen has been one of the most sought after musicians on the Danish as well as the International Jazz scene. He has been a member of ground-breaking bands such as When Granny Sleeps, Jakob Anderskov Trio, Doky Brothers, Kasper Tranberg Yakuza Zhuffle, Lovedale and Copenhagen Art Ensemble. He has toured and recorded with Jazz Greats such as: Bob Berg, David Liebman, Steve Swallow, Marc Johnson, Brecker Brothers, Gary Thomas, Django Bates, Tim Hagans, Cuong Vu, Lew Soloff and Ray Anderson. Anders holds a position as Associated Professor and head of the Jazzdepartment at Carl Nielsen Academy of Music, Odense.
